Executive Summary

Our business is all about helping the wives of martyrs (the soldiers who died and sacrifices their lives for the nation) to earn a good living while taking care of their families, especially those who are raising children on their own. Many of these women already have skills in making beautiful handmade items, which will make our business easier to run. Plus, since they come from different parts of the country, we’ll get to blend traditional designs from various states, making our products extra special.

Plan: We’re focusing on selling handmade décor items like embroidered bedsheets, sofas, table covers, cushions, paintings, orbs, and flowers online. To make this happen, we’ll create a website where people can see and buy these unique items. We’ll also hire someone to handle the website and make sure everything runs smoothly.

Entrepreneur: Being an Army Brat I always had the deep feelings for the army persons and their families and always wanted to do something to make a positive difference in the lives of these brave women and their families. Through this initiative I would be able to make my childhood dream come true, for which I am very excited, emotional and happy at the same time.

Industry Overview: In our industry, there are already many businesses selling handmade décor, but what makes us different is that we’re focused on helping a specific group of artisans – the wives of martyrs. Plus, we’re bringing together different cultural influences to make our products stand out in the competitive market.

Target Customers Profile: Our customers will be people who love handmade items with the brave and extraordinary stories behind them and those who want to support financially these families to bring a difference through their purchases. We’ll reach out to them through online ads, stories about our artisans, and partnerships with others who care about social issues.

Anticipated Milestones: Our short-term goals include finding artisans (martyr’s wives) and collaborating to work with, launching our website, and getting our name out there to make this initiative popular in the country. In the long run, we want to grow our business, add more products, coming with better equipment and modern trends and continue helping these women and their families.

In a nutshell, our business is about combining social impact with making money. We’re giving deserving women a chance to support themselves while offering customers beautiful, culturally rich handmade décor. With the right support, we know we can succeed in both our financial and social goals, making a real difference in people’s lives.
